St. Patrick’s Day is a Day to celebrate the Irish. Erika Fox, an entrepreneur and blogger of Retro Flame, is an Irish girl perusing her dreams in New York City. As the inspiration for this post, I was motivated to combine styling business attire and the national Irish holiday. When it comes to business-wear, they can be quite boring looks. Creating a colorful, profession look is a lot easier than it appears to be. The key is to go for the monochromatic look. Since the one-colored look is a huge trend right now, it only works to your benefit. Boden is a company that knows how to have fun with the professional attire. This paisley, button-up shirt is from Boden and it went perfectly with this green, vest from Anthropologie. With the buttons down the back, it adds a unique twist to the basic sweater vest. The St. Patrick’s Day green only made it more festive for the occasion. When it comes to pants, the most comfortable style is the jogger. The elastic openings on the waist and ankles allow for an easy fit, while they still remain loose in the legs. When Banana Republic combined business with leisure, I couldn’t have been more excited.
