I apologize for the delay, as I was originally going to post this yesterday on my birthday. I had some technical difficulties… Anyways, I just turned twenty three and I’m not going to lie, twenty two could have been a lot better. So in an effort to turn my back on the difficult year, I figured why not take it literally and go out with a bang! I give you the perfect closet gem for the holidays, the open-back velvet bodysuit!
Originally while my mom and I were shooting this look, we were joking around and had this idea that these pieces were the necessary clothing pieces we would take if the zombie apocalypse was upon us. Like I said, we have to go out with a bang to defend ourselves! Why not be completely ludicrous and rock it? Also, if you are looking to use these same pieces to fight off zombies, almost all the pieces are on sale! Not only do you get to feel like a badass, but you’re a badass that can bargain. Clearly the traits that you need for this job…
While this situation could be in our future, I wanted to portrey a literal symbol to conquering our forthcoming. With the holiday season in full swing and the end of the year coming in hot, maybe it’s time to focus on how we are going to better ourselves in the next year. Don’t look in the past, but learn from it. Instead, have everyone else look at your back.

After all, these are essential during the zombie apocalypse, so stock up while you can. If you would rather wear it during the holidays, I completely understand. Plus, velvet has been the trend of the season, so I’ve been trying to get my hands on as much velvet as possible.
