Saved by the bell and quite literally I might add! Before we start, I must inform you that the wind in this photoshoot is crazy. We went to a location about an hour away so the option to re-do the shoot was not happening. Although, it kind of catered to the whole point of this post- bell sleeves! Not so much my hair, though. Bad day to wear lipgloss… Anyways, I went to Anthropologie about two weeks ago and did some major damage. Between this post, the Floral Rearrangement post, and the (Sea)mless Transitioning post, I have showcased multiple pieces from my latest Anthropologie excursion. They have so many cute pieces as of lately that I couldn’t help myself. In particular, this bell-sleeved, striped top. With the bell detail looking much like a flower, I already know that this top is going to be a staple in my Spring wardrobe!
The great thing about this bell-sleeved top is its versatility. No matter what you pair with it, it will always look cute. I mean it’s a classic striped top! Since the stripes are closer together, this is also going to give you a much more slimming figure. With the black and white color scheme, it also allows for you to style it with nearly anything. The bell detail just adds that perfect punch of a statement to turn a normal classic shirt into a stylish classic top. Seriously obsessed you all! If you get anything out of these last three posts, please go for this top. I promise, you won’t regret it. It even comes in red, for a pop of color. It’s such a staple piece in your closet this year and it will flawlessly transition you from the winter to spring, and even from day to night.
With Paris Fashion Week starting next Tuesday, I wanted to style this in a festive way. I mean I already had the stripes down, so I can check that off my list. Parisians take pride in their minimalistic ways, so less is always more. If you are new to my blog, you will soon figure out that I am most definitely not a minimalist. I love options and layering. With that being said, this is about the closest to minimal as I can pull off. I’m going to give myself an A for effort at least…They also like to stick to their neutrals, with a pop of color hear and there. My Madewell bandana scarf adds the perfect amount of color without overdoing it. Plus It’s a neck scarf, which couldn’t be more Parisian. Am I right?
With the weather being so unpredictable, I knew it was a good idea to incorporate some sort of jacket. I felt that a leather jacket, with a relaxed style mixed very well with the rest of the look. The hood even added a more causal feel. To add that modern touch to the outfit, these Bauble Bar ear crawlers did just the trick. The gold in the earrings paired perfectly with my Ralph Lauren O-ring belt. Everyone should have a classic Ralph Lauren O-ring belt in their closet, because it’s like a designer hand bag- it gets better overtime. Everyone needs a belt, and if you are like me, I use the same three over and over again. Might as well invest in one that gets better the more you wear it, right?
To finish off the look, I just kept it simple. No wrong can be done with my Urban Outfitters booties, my Vince Camuto bucket bag (which is on trend, I might add), and some classic black Quay Australia shades. Regardless, this shirt is the savior to all your wardrobe problems. Need a new stylish striped shirt? Are you lacking a cute top to go out in or a causal piece to venture to lunch in? All problems solved. Definitely, one of my favorite pieces to transition into Spring. What are some of yours? Comment down below, because I’m dying to know!

It was towards the back of the store, near the home pieces in my store. It was actually easy to miss, but I was there to kill some time haha. They have such great pieces, but I really wish they would have bigger sales. The struggle is real. Thanks so much for the love, Danielle!

Oh. my. gosh. I SO can relate on the windy awfulness that shoots can turn into!! The warmer weather has made them bearable, but I can vividly remember some really NOT fun shoots that were made much worse due to the wind this winter…. you managed to look cute tho! And this top is so adorable!!

Haha, girl, I love you! You totally get an A not only for the effort, but also for the outcome of your minimalistic styling here. I know you, just as I, like to add not just a pop of color, but use the whole palette. You did an amazing job here with the sleeve and although the wind was giving you a hard time you nailed the pictures! š
