I bet you all had no idea about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I don’t understand why nobody is talking about it. Just kidding! Everyone and their mother is talking about it, and I’m sure you are clicking out of this post as we speak. But wait! I will be giving you the boring (but very important) basic information regarding the NSale, but I’m also finishing this post off with a bit of a twist. Not only will you get the low down of all the necessary details, but you will also given the Fall 2017 trend report! If you would like to educate yourself on the most up-to-date styles and trends for the fall, then I’d love for you to stay!

But first, let’s get the dirty work over with.

What is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?

If you live under a rock, it’s totally cool. I get it. People can be very high maintenance sometimes. Basically, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is two fold. It’s first purpose is to help clear out their spring + summer inventory, so they can make room for their fall inventory. At the same time, they want to get people amped for their fall pieces. What better way to increase the hype than to a giant sale? Not only will they have discounts on older summer pieces, but they will also have up to 40% off on brand spankin new Fall 2017 pieces! This is why I love the Nsale.

When does it start?

Early Access: July 13th

Public Access: July 21st (aka TODAY)

Sale Ends For All: August 6th

How do I know if I can get early access?

If you are a Nordstrom’s cardholder, you got your in! Seriously, take advantage of the early release because everything gets picked over real fast. From July 13th-20th, you get the first pick at brand new arrivals!

What to look for?

I always go straight for the shoes. Those are always the big ticket items, plus they are my kryptonite. The next thing I go for are sweaters, because God knows I need 52 more sweaters. Seriously though, I do. Basically anything that’s pretty pricey is what I go for, because it’s not everyday you get up to 40% off these pieces before the season even starts! Fall is the best season of the year (in my opinion), and half of that reason is because of the style and trends. Instead of walking into the Nsale blind and unaware of the future season’s trends, I thought I would give you a leg up on your competition. You know how people get with sales! To start preparing for your plan of action, be sure to check out their catalogue.

I always love to start my research with the color report. I can always tell right away if I’m going to love the season’s trends just from the colors.

I know most of us aren’t really thinking about Fall fashion trends in July. We are still getting our jam on with all the cute dresses, bathing suits, and straw accessories.
