Life is very complicated in high school. You feel funny, you look funny, and you dress funny. At least I did… You feel so awkward and out of place. As a result, you tend to follow the flow. You would rather blend in than stand out. In order for this to work, you stick to the labels. Everyone wears the same coupe of labels in order to feel socially accepted. The funny thing is that this concept is still being practiced. Four years you think for sure, that’s all you’ve got to endure. The problem is high school never ends.
Recycling old trends and revamping them is especially relevant in fashion today. Let’s put this to the test and modernize the labels trend! After graduating college this August, I received one of the greatest graduation presents ever. I had borrowed my aunt’s vintage Louis Vuitton purse last fall and fell in love with it. She decided that it needed a new, loving home and she passed it on to me. Still can’t believe it! Louis Vuitton is one of the ultimate labels, so I took the idea and ran with it.
During high school, everyone cares what everyone is doing. In result, many people dress to impress the rest. With the fall season underway, these TOMS peep toe booties I bought at the #Nsale fit the occasion. Not only are they the most comfortable pair of heels I own, but they are in Oxblood. Doesn’t get better than that! I can’t tell you how many compliments I get when I wear these peeps. To match the booties, I found the most perfect bomber jacket for these transitional days. With the neutral, cream color and rich floral print on the sleeves, it’s bound to match perfectly with most of your closet. I love Francesca’s, but I find it very hit or miss. Although, this season they are killing it! I have never found so many cute pieces at once in my life there!
Furthermore, this look still needed a couple key labels that were popular while I was in high school. American Eagle Outfitters still is a force to be reckoned with on the denim game. They fit almost every body, which is key during those years of puberty. I still love their jeans, because they are so comfortable and reasonably priced. Finally, high school would not be complete without a touch of Coach. I would say it was one of the most popular labels of my generation. These retro sunnies perfectly correlate the gold from the flowers, on the sleeves. Coach is even following this trend, while modernizing their old trends. Bowling For Soup said it perfectly; high school never ends.

Love, love, LOVEEE your outfit in this post! I can never get enough of bombers so I will definitely be checking out the one mentioned here. Also will most likely be checking out American Eagle for jeans. A majority of the time, jeans fit/look weird on me and I’ve never really cared enough to shop around. Thanks for sharing!
