Hello, it’s me. I was wondering if after all these years you’d like to meet to go over everything? Since 1962, we’ve seen glamorous mixed with action with a punch of mystery over 25 times. Nothing gives you more confidence than putting your best foot forward, while looking like a bad ass in the process. Everyone likes a little mystery in their life, so let’s try something new. Shall we? With the release of the new James Bond movie, Spectre, I was inspired to put my own twist on the famous series. I present to you agent 007.
There are 3 key elements in order to pull off this look. We’ll call this the 007. When I want to feel like a bad ass, I go for one thing. They say that time’s supposed to heal, yeah. Although in this instance, it amplifies your look. The first 0 is represented by leather. Be bold, like James, and try multiple pieces of leather. I went for a jacket and a skirt. To add a more retro feel, I went for the colored leather. This helps to break up the intense amount of leather. The A-line silhouette boosts the retro feel up a notch and also adds a more glamorous feel. The sleekness amplifies the mysteriousness of Bond, James Bond’s persona.
The second 0 is represented by the retro styling. This is an important piece of the puzzle, because the setting of James Bond originated in the 1960s. As the movies continue, they still keep that retro element. The twist is they also incorporate the retro styling into the modern day. It’s the cohesion of the two that makes the look not so outdated. In order to represent this retro styling, I focused this element on the accessories. The cat-eyed shades, the knee-high socks and the scarf all represent a 60s vibe. You can even get creative with the scarf and wear it in multiple ways. You can wear it on your head for an even more retro look or you can tie it on your purse to make the look more modern.
Finally, the 7 is represented by the staple pieces. These are pieces that are going to be essential for everyone to own for the fall. They are pieces that are going to go with everything. Staple pieces serve as the base of an outfit, hense the name. They enhance the look, but in an effortless way. The white tee and the black booties are must haves for any outfit this fall.
In order to accomplish your mission, you must successfully complete your 3 tasks. With the use of leather, retro styling and staple pieces, you can transform into your own James Bond character. Use 007 to keep you on track. So, hello from the other side. This time you won’t have to be sorry for everything that you’ve done.
