The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe

To me, snow turns the world into a magical fairytale. The way it looks covering the world in white brings a sense of imagination. It channels your inner creativity forcing you to be inspired. It leaves a feeling of clarity as we move on to the next adventure. Yes many people tend to disagree, but give it a chance. It just might surprise you.

In order to turn those opinions around, it’s time to bring in some light and happiness to the mix. You can’t tell me that the color yellow doesn’t make you smile. To counteract the fact that the snow brings freezing cold temperatures, let’s bring some heat and light to it! Right now golds, yellows, and mustards tend to be translated through winter accessories. The vibrant pop of color serves as a focal point to the outfit. Since everyone’s eyes are draw to it, it protrudes a feeling of happiness. Maybe it can do the same for you! Whether it’s a mustard beanie, some yellow booties or simply just some gold jewelry, it’s the little things that matter. Don’t paint me black when I used to be golden. Forever stay golden!

Now that you are feeling good, let’s get the creative juices flowing. Let your hair go untamed and release your mane into the world. It keeps you quite warm, actually. Throw on an vintage looking sweater that you got from your wardrobe as a source of inspiration. Venture out into a forest full of dusted trees and you might just find an icy witch. The point is to imagine and create. Once you have the right energy going, you might just pull out an outfit that will make you smile and appreciate the beauty of snow.

Start off this year as an optimist. Try to adventure out of your comfort zone and appreciate the beauty of the things you don’t understand. With a little help from your wardrobe, I’m sure you might just be able to make it through this winter without being so miserable. This is your life there’s no way to run from it. For all of you who actually like winter, take this as an opportunity to experiment with color. Nothing makes you stand out more than a pop of color against the beacon of light. You might hate my words, but you know that I’m right. Have fun this winter!
