With Easter coming up this weekend, I thought it was the perfect time to bring out the white! More so cream if you will… but I always thought I’d see you again. It’s a time to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, which calls for some light, color and cheer! It symbolizes a fresh start and a new life. Spring marks the time of new experiences growing and putting old adventures in the past. It officially marks the end of winter and the beginning of warmer weather. Oh I’ve seen fire and I’ve seen rain.
Since the monochromatic outfits are currently on trend, white or cream looks will festively represent your style this Easter. Light, airy fabrics and hints of pastel colors only add to the festivities and deliver an effortless vibe. Blouses that loosely tie in the front are excellent pieces to help look your Sunday best. This ruffled skirt from Urban Outfitters adds texture and movement, which slightly serves as a pattern. Contrasting patterns always add an interesting and unique twist to any outfit.
When it comes to adding some color, a pop of it in your shoes is the easiest way to pull the entire outfit together. The neon orange ones were chosen to match the blouse, which has hints of tangerine throughout. Since spring is know for accumulating a lot of rain, the shoes bring the heat to ease the monsoon season. Soon enough you’ll have seen sunny days that you thought would never end.
This spring dip your toes in the monochromatic ways and see if you like it. Start fresh and try trends you normally would not. Take on new experiences and adventure out in the world of fashion. You’ve just got to see me through another day. I hope the weather is up to par and that everyone has a terrific Easter!
