Peter Pan Syndrome

With friends and classmates getting big kid jobs and internships, it’s forcing me to realize that growing up is inevitable. I need to focus on the future, but I can’t seem to let go of my youth. The “real world” intimidates me to the max, so what better way to counteract these emotions then by going to Neverland! At least, can we go for a little bit? I need to find the lost boys…

As a kid I went through many different phases of style. From girly, to tomboy, to wearing too many accessories on my head. The point is I knew how to be adventurous with my style from the get-go. It’s time to channel your own inner Peter Pan! Explore new lands and throw your hair up in a double pony-tail. Have camp fires with the indians and wear funky, obnoxious earrings. Swim with the mermaids and try out the blue eyeliner you never knew you had. Party with the lost boys (once you find them) and rave with the coolest shades you have. I don’t know about you, but I’m taking the summer to recover from my Peter Pan Syndrome. Come join me in my journey to find the lost boys and don’t forget to bring your pixie dust! Here’s to never growing up and happy thoughts!
