Whether you went to Coachella this weekend or stayed on the Couchella, it’s always the talk of the weekend. It’s the “unofficial” start to summer festivities, and it’s become the location for all creatives to come together and share their talents. From music to fashion to technology, so much content and art is created in those short three days. As millennials, we are the influencers of the future and it’s important to recognize this. To kick off some spring and summer content, I wanted to compile some street style looks from the festival. Today, I’m sharing the top Coachella fashion trends that you should keep your eyes out for these upcoming seasons!

Before we break it down into individual trends, I noticed that there were two main themes that were extremely popular. Between all things western and retro, every other trend I noticed followed suit. 70s and 80s fashion has been on the rise since last year, and there are no plans of it stopping. In fact, it’s only getting stronger. Basically the more retro, the better. This two piece set from Urban Outfitters is a perfect example. Not only does the silhouette scream retro, but so does the floral print. Plus, I could seriously live in this set – it’s so comfy.

Western is more of the trend on the rise. Right now, it’s in it’s early adopter stage (aka influencers). Next to retro, western was the next prominent theme I saw represented by influencers at Coachella. From fringe to oversized hats, cowboy boots to oversized hardware, it was seen in almost everyone’s outfits (at least somewhere). Some influencers went all out, and some kept it subtle by throwing on an oversized hat and some cute western-inspired booties. Regardless, don’t be surprised to see it everywhere by the summer.

The first weekend of Coachella may be over and done with, but there’s still one weekend left! This weekend, I challenge you to pick out these top fashion trends.
