Christmas Sweater Countdown!

Christmas Sweater Countdown!

As you can see, my brother, Ian is back by popular demand! The holidays are meant to spend time with you wonderfully, crazy family, so I figured I’d drag him back for another shoot. Besides, nothing says Christmas quite like an ugly Christmas sweater, am I right? To be honest, I have no idea where this tradition came from, but I’m not complaining. It’s really rather bizarre, if you think about it. Why is having an obnoxiously festive sweater such a thing? Although, it’s kind of like a treasure hunt. Whoever can find the most hilarious looking sweater, wins the prize. Maybe not really, but they sure do get the most compliments. I don’t know about you, but when you combine anything with humor, count me in!

Our sweaters are not particularly on the funny side, but they are classically festive for the holiday. I got my sweater a couple years ago from Urban Outfitters. They always collect an assortment of vintage, holiday sweaters and they are always so oversized, comfy and wonderful. I linked a similar one down below with a Christmas tree on it. Ian’s Christmas attire is mostly from Vineyard Vines, aka they store of his dreams. Ian loves to experiment with his style and the holidays are the perfect time to mix and match colors and prints. His Christmas sweater is actually very versatile. He can wear it all through the holiday season and even when the new year begins, he is good to go! I highly suggest if you are looking to shop for your dad, brother, boyfriend, good ole Gramps or whoever is manly in your family, to check out Vineyard Vines.

I have found that the best and cheapest place to get Christmas sweaters is from Etsy! Not only do you have a million different options to choose from, but you are also helping support a small businesses. Honestly, I’m a sucker for helping out small businesses, so I’m all about Etsy. The only problem with them is that they tend to take a longer time to deliver. With that, I would definitely double check the shipment time. Most of these small businesses though, want the good feedback. They will either go the extra mile to help out their customers, or they will let you know that it will not be there in time for Christmas. I would start your search to find the perfect Christmas sweater at Etsy.

I realize that if you are shopping online for some Christmas sweaters, you have to be cautious of the shipping time. Most online stores will state when the last day to order for you to rep your festively obnoxious sweaters on Christmas. I would check out ASOS (use code “EXPRESSUSA” when you spend $4o), Urban Outfitters (order by 7pm), Target (order by 4pm), UglyChristmasSweater.com (expedite by 5pm), Forever 21 (order by 3PM), or Tipsy Elves (order by 12pm). These are the places I have found that have the best Christmas sweaters and the right delivery time. Just double-check with the times or just be cautious of this factor.

My next bet, is to go to any of your local stores and check them out in person. That way you can get some more Christmas shopping done, while you are out and about. I mean, you can never have enough sweaters… If you are looking for some quick and easy-clickable access to some awesome Christmas sweaters, I’ve linked my favorites down below! Are you on the naughty Christmas sweater list or the nice list?

Yay, I’m glad he’s back, haha.
I must admit I’m a sucker for (ugly) Christmas sweaters. Not that mine are ugly too, but they are so…nerdy, haha. But it’s only Christmas once a year, so why not be a bit goofy? šŸ™‚
    Have a wonderful Christmas sweetie!
